Building Your Social Media Profiles

Social signals have now become a more important metric to the
search engines in determining your website rank. So, certain
important points need to be kept in mind when you think of
increasing social signals.

One of the best ways to build your social media is to create
compelling content on a consistent basis. However, this may not
build an audience all on it’s own. If no one is reading your content
then no one is going to be sharing it.

Leveraging social media is a matter of getting the number of
followers to a point where the number of followers that you have is
enough to provide you with growth through sharing. Getting to this
point is easier said than done.

Even thought directing new subscribers from your email list to your

social media sites is important, if you are not getting a large

number of new email subscribers each day, this is not going to help

you get more than a few new fans and followers. So, take the time

to ask existing subscribers to join your social media sites. Beyond

this you will need to tap into the current social media networks in

order to get new subscribers and followers. 23
